Our Mission
The Locke A. Taylor Compassion Project was created to continue the legacy of Dr. Locke A. Taylor, who did so much to help pets and their families in our community.
We seek to provide financial assistance for necessary veterinary care to families who otherwise cannot afford it. Everyone is better off when pets are able to stay in their homes with their families.
Through charitable donations and fundraising, we aim to support families in providing care for their pets without added financial stress.
How We Help
The Locke A. Taylor Compassion Project focuses on assisting pet owners who are struggling financially with the cost of emergency medical and surgical procedures, as well as occasional long-term care. The foundation does not cover preventative medicine and procedures.
Emergency Care
Emergency situations are challenging enough without the added burden of financial worries. We offer financial assistance for emergency care, allowing pet owners to focus on what matters most—caring for their pets.
Surgical Care
Facing the need for unexpected emergency surgery can be difficult for both pets and their families. We offer financial assistance to begin the path of healing so that pets and their owners can thrive.
Long-term Care
Managing life-threatening conditions can be both emotionally & financially demanding. We provide financial assistance for ongoing care, helping pet owners give their pets the consistent support they need for a healthier, happier life.
